Invested in Change
The passions of our employees and our purpose-driven culture inspire the role we seek to fulfill in our communities.
Lived Values
Our daily interactions are guided by openness, trust, rigorous debate, and doing the right thing, even when it’s difficult. Similarly, our focus on long-term outcomes, an ownership mindset, and responsible stewardship is where we find alignment not just internally, but across the many stakeholders we serve. This extends to what we see as our integral role in our local communities.

Audax Charitable Foundation
The Audax Charitable Foundation (ACF)* was created to positively impact the communities where we operate through the passions of our employees by supporting programs in the greater Boston or San Francisco areas focused on Education, Healthcare, Social Support & Services, and Arts & Cultural Programs.
The ACF mission was conceived by our team members, the foundation is organized and run by the Audax team, prospective grantees are nominated by individual team members, and each grant is ultimately recommended by a rotating cross-section of Audax volunteers. ACF has awarded over 50 grants to date, as of April 2026. Learn more in the ACF Annual Report.

Responsible Investing
Beyond Audax Private Equity's local communities, we are intentional in our efforts to help our portfolio companies have the same impact in the communities where their employees live and work. This stems from a belief that sustainability, governance and other non-financial factors represent a critical component to create, enable and protect value, build better businesses, and drive risk-adjusted returns over long-term investment horizons. These efforts are aligned with and guided by responsible investment priorities informed by the American Investment Council’s Guidelines for Responsible Investment and the UN Principles on Responsible Investing.
Continuous Improvement
In collaboration with third party consultants, our Responsible Investment Committee oversees the implementation of the firm’s responsible investment policy, reviews non-financial risks and opportunities, and discloses any material issues to appropriate stakeholders.
We leverage data to understand and improve efforts around resource conservation, waste reduction, carbon emissions and the impact of climate change, in addition to other areas, to create capabilities that foster continuous improvement.
