ASC Completes Investment in QHP Capital Portfolio Company Azurity Pharmaceuticals

Audax Strategic Capital today announced its investment in Azurity Pharmaceuticals, a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on innovative dosage forms. Azurity is a portfolio company of QHP Capital, based in North Carolina’s Research Triangle, which invests in tech-enabled life sciences and pharma services companies.
 
ASC is investing out of its debut fund, which closed above target last year and raised approximately $1.3 billion of total capital when combined with related vehicles and Audax Private Equity’s GP commitment. ASC has now completed ten non-control, mid-hold equity investments across North America and Europe through its first fund.

ASC’s investment in Azurity is taking form as a combination of both preferred and common equity, and certain limited partners are co-investing alongside ASC.
